Organized by the Urban Planning Cluster and several faculties of the Universities of Niš and Belgrade, as well as the Science and Technology Park Niš, 5th International Conference on Urban Planning (ICUP 2025) was held on April 10 and 11, 2025, in which representatives of the Agency for Spatial and Urban Planning of the Republic of Serbia also participated.

The main theme of the conference “People-centered Urban Landscapes: Planning, Designing and Building for Humanity” was developed through various scientific and expert sessions that dealt with data on urban development, public spaces, trends in architecture, brownfields, Sustainable Development Goals, etc.

Siniša Trkulja, on behalf of the Agency, moderated the panel entitled “Effects, Outcomes, and Results of the Planning Process”, while Tijana Živanović Milić participated in the session on the Quality of Life Index, as well as in the introductory part of the session on the localization of the Sustainable Development Goals
